are the head bolts reusable that come in a 92 4g15? they have a hex style head and look like regular 1g dsm bolts. i cannot find new one's at any auto parts store here in cincy. thanks. |

If the manual says one final torque reading, then yes, but check for stretch anyways. If the manuals says that they have a torque reading then a degree angle - they are torque to yield and should probably be changed. www.lilevo.com/mirage/ |

Thanks man. I searched the index and only could find a single torque spec. The spec was around 50 to 55 ft lbs. So that's what I put them too. |

you are not going to find them at a parts house only dealer and they aren't cheap.

the problem i ran across was the headbolts for 91-94 are different than 95 and up. and the cross referance was wrong, i try three different parts house and ran in to the same problem. the headbolts from the 95 and up are smaller in diamiter and shorter in lenght and have a 12 point head on it. thats what the parts houses were giving me. that is why i went to the dealer for the head bolt which i still have some where. |
