Post subject: | Oil Pressure Gauge |
Hey guys got another question here. I want to install an oil pressure gauge and was just wondering where the port is located to plug the oil pressure gauge into. Normally they are close to the oil filter but I have no idea where in this case. Has anyone done this mod yet and know where to find it? Thanks! |

http://www.roadraceengineering.com/inst ... nstall.htm This gives the info needed for running the turbo oil feed off the housing, you could use either port for the gauge. One is fresh filtered the other not. I use the filtered to the turbo on my mirage and the non to my gauge sender with no problems thus far. |

I'm trying to install the gauge in a 1.5L 4speed N/A. |

Ahh, well I haven't done that... I'd agree with your first bet that there is a port near the oil filter. |

I think the stock sensor for the light screws directly in the front of the engine block. I would either T off of that or just replace that sensor, with a gauge you really don't need the idiot light. |

Having no luck finding this sensor. Can't really see anything in front of the engine block, exhaust manifold is in the way. Is there like an online repair manual or something that I can use to find it? I'm out of ideas at this point : / |

Seems like mine was just under the exhaust manifold on my 91 colt. It threads directly into the front of the engine block. Just look for wires going to a sensor on the block. |
