Post subject:  4G15 8V check engine always lights ON

after a week of replacement of peanut bulb on my check engine and also no show of check engine now its alway ON.

they said that the culprit maybe the O2 sensor. can we clean 02 sensor? can we baypass O2 sensor? How? thanks

Can't clean it and can't bypass it. It is required for the engine to have proper efficiency and power. If the ECU is giving a code stating it is the O2 sensor then replace it with a new one.

mostly 4G15 12V lancer GTI sedan here in the philipines does'nt have O2 sensor. so there's a possibility to bypass the O2 sensor.

Are they carburated? Electronic fuel injected type of fuel delivery, whether it is multi-point, throttle body or dual point injection, uses an O2 sensor.

yes they are fuel injected but doest have O2 sensor.
