What is up on this?

How would the motor hold up with the right upgrades performed to them.
or this one?

Cheap(as in quality not necessarily price) eBay turbo kit. You could buy it and it would work but for way less you could do so many other things to make so much more reliable power. Such as swapping to a 4g63t and running a 16g... I wouldn't buy a kit such as this.

Pros: It's very shiny, and the silicone couplers are of reasonable quality.

Cons: Your engine will probably blow in about a week, five miles before the turbo flies apart.

From experience I can tell you, that fake Greddy BOV was probably not assembled properly, so you'll need to re-assemble it and use lots of teflon tape and JB weld to minimize leaks, you'll need to bead the IC pipes, and JB weld the leaky welds at the BOV flange.

It would be a good starting point, you would just need to replace the turbo and bov.

"psi drop under 0.2. other intercoolers usually drop 10 psi, while some are more."

I would not buy from someone that says "other intercoolers" drop 10 psi or more, while their intercooler is perfect. Just stay away from that crap, man. There's a reason you don't see a bunch of folks here running around with turbo'd 4g15 engines.
