I have a 4G15 8V engine with 4 speed tranny and i wish to upgrade it to 5 speed tranny, should I change also the tranny cable of 4 speed to tranny cable of 5 speed? or the tranny cable for 4 speed is compatible to 5 speed tranny..thanks for your help..

As long as we're talking about a swap similar to the one I posted, you can use the existing cable.
Unless of course you want to put a new one in. I ordered a new one, but didnt install it yet.
