Great site guys! I just got into these colts, greats cars. I see everyone pretty much cutting their canisters, does this really do anything? what are the pros and cons of doing this? Im looking to do something to the 4g15 before I swap a 4g63t into it in a few months. Thanks |

Do you mean that people cut their "air cleaner" canister? If that's the case, they do it for more airflow but not much more. |

In my opinion it only lets hot air from the engine compartment in. On the 4G15 I highly doubt that you will see any gains except for maybe a little more intake sound, if that. |

yeah i wanted to ask because i would think hot air would get in from the engine |
