i beleave that the 4g 12v harness is different then the 3g 12v harness. when i swapped in my 4g 12v engine in to my 3g, the tb on the 4g 12v was different. hope these pics help.

What are the differences besides the interior and ECU plugs? Can I just swap my 3G plugs onto the 4G harness? Are there any pinouts for the two with colors? Basically I have a car that originally came with an 8 valve motor. I took off the 8 valve head and put a 12 valve in it's place. I don't have a 12 valve harness. I have ALL of the parts for the 4G37 but I NEED a 12 valve harness. Can I convert the 8 valve harness to a 12 valve harness using this 4G 12 valve harness that I have here? Is there ANYTHING I can do? Nobody can find a 12 valve harness for me. |

I would convert the 8v harness using the connectors from the 4g harness. Not sure if the colors are the same or not. |
