You won't get a huge change in mpg switching from a 4spd to a 5spd.

Mine's an 8v G15B 4-speed and I get the old EPA estimated rating for MPG. :lol:

I'll get 35/36 mpg combined usually. Even on a bad day, I never got the new rating which is 31. I'd get 33 at the least. The highest I ever had was 38 MPG. I'm assuming the 5-speed is more for pep than fuel economy.
