Not to sound like an a$$ but I would think that you could figure out if his alternator fits your car.
Go to an autpoparts store online & compare part numbers of both cars' alternators.
Same p/n = same alternator.

I have a 95 mirage coupe with a 1.8l what other alternators fit our cars? my friend is offering me one off of his 89-92 galant ls but I don't know if it will fit. any info on this? Any help will be greatly appreciated as this is my DD and I work 1 hour away! |

I just checked online at autozone.com & they arent the same p/n. Im pretty sure Mitsu changed their wiring between those 2 years, but dont quote me on that. Also, one would think that a 90A version from a USDM 94-98 Galant would work. Or cars w/ the similar 2.4L set-up like the Eclipse spyder or the Expo. You might have better luck finding out this info on a fourm that is more knowledgable to your generation of Mirage. P.S. Add your location to your profile information. Regards, -Shawn |
