hmmmmmm well got everything buttoned up with the new motor today . and there is no fnnnn spark.i swapped dist andstill no spark the thing is it rad fine before the old motor threw a rod . so i swapped it out with a new 1.5 and this is wat i ended up wit. even wen i pull the dist out i can turn bye hand and the fp will cycle so wat could it be.

Do you have power going to the distributor? Is the distributor turning when you crank the engine?

sorry about that. yes it was turning while i was turning the engine over. so i pulled the dist out and turned it andi heard the fp cycle. i just got a coil now . i am going to try it tomorrow.
