Acceleration is slow but gradual an my 4g15 you really cant feel it goes slow but after you get pass 30 mph you look down and you’re at 60mph real quick. I floor the gas and still nothing tell 30 mph anyway how can I get the car to accelerate faster really cheap don’t want to spend money because I want to do a 4g63t swap. Any suggestions that can help me also I have a hole some where in my exhaust manifold or down pipe would jb weld be good to use on it.

I had basic mods and my car liked advanced timing, it helped alot towards the bottem end response. I also ran 50 shot of NOS, car went 16 flat, respectable. Not bad for total investment of 500 bux. Tom

I had the same prob on my '90 1.6L colt, but to fix it I just had to clean the throttle body out, cause it was absolutly covered in gunk. now I have no probs putting the car to 60Kph at 5000RPM in first, and it will blow by just about anything I've taken on, on the road.
