ok here goes... i have a 1987 dodge colt E it has a original 57,000 miles on it. the eninge is a 1.5 liter 4G15 with a 2 barrel carb. i have done just about all the cosmetic mods with this car available, all i want to know is can i do a 2.0 4G63T swap in my car? i can junk all underhood parts ( father used to be a mechanic for 22 years) and start fresh again. the only reason i want to do this is everyone and they're mother thinks it's slow. i just want to blow the doors of some loud mouth kids around. |

It can be done, but its not easy. You'll need lotsa custom bits to get it in there plus a bit of 'gentle persuasion' is necessary on some of the body parts to make a decent transaxle fit. BTW - dont forget you'll need serious upgrades for your brakes and suspension. |

Bump, I'm very interested also. Is there a member or any threads off the top anyone has that could shine some light on the situation? Mainly engine/Suspension swap info. I've searched countless word phrases and come up with nothing. Thanks in advance! |
