I did a little junk yard hunting the other day, and came across some different mitsubishi engines. I am looking for a bigger throttle body for my 94 Eagle Summit 1.5L, will any of these work? If not what should I be looking for?
-Eagle Talon 4G37 engine
-Mitsubishi Galant 4G63 engine
-89 Dodge Colt (hood was bolted shut but still had engine)

Any news or info anyone could give me on these engines would be great.

Forget the 4G37 as an upgrade. Even if it was bigger the sensors are weirdly arranged and it doesnt look like it would work.

I've got some info on using an eclipse 4g63t (and the non turbo one is the same, except the elbow) TB at my site, www.miragetuner.com

yah, I know the 60mm TB from the 1G DSMs fits up to the 4G15 plenums on my cars. You would need to to enlargen the hole in the plenum to the size of the TB to get any benefit of course.

The manifolds Im talking about have the words 'ECI-MULTI' cast on them.

You'll likely have problems with high idle speed with the really big TBs. Although according to some you can 'paint' the inside of the TB to make the throttle plate seal better and make idle more controllable. Anyone else with a better fix for this - please let us know!
