i had mine hooked up to my dist. it was an orange wire that i used(only one i got a sig. from), but after talking to berserko, he told me which wire to use.
Is it a solid orange wire or is the orange a striped wire?

Come on, doesn't somebody have the right answer? Please don't post if all your going to say is "my friend did it" or "I did it but I don't remember how I did it" or "talk to so and so" because they don't know either. One guy said it's the orange wire coming out the bottom of the distributor, can anyone verify this?

The right answer is that I hooked it off the tach filter right on the intake manifold.

It worked.

Where do you have it plugged in now? I will make the basic assumption that you have the power to the tach correct and you are hunting for the correct signal line.

Before we can help more, we need more information.

That's the same place I have it hooked to, My power is good, my ground is good, it lights up with the lights, but no working tach. I'm thinking the signal from that spot is too weak or something and that the signal that may come from this mysterious orange wire may be stronger.

I need you guys to completely forget about this post. I went through all my connections (while I was testing for power) and found that one of the splices didn't go quite all the way through. WooHoo, my tach works!
