Got a 88' g32B powerd dodge colt permire with 67,000 miles and in show room floor condition, but the engine had to be rebuilt so i did that and the gasget kit had valve seals so i figured i put them in only to find the head was bad. got a second one from a junk yard and that one was bad. now the junk yards giving me shit and just wants me to get another head from them but thay only have some colt vistas and some mirages.

so if any one could give me a list of engine codes with heads that will fit the G32B, that would be great!

thanks :D

Well, I'm afraid your pretty much stuck using a g32b head, Technically, a 4g37 head will fit, but not without major modifications, I.E. 4g37 intake manifold, new wiring harness, air/fuel controler, possibly notching the deck of the block for the '37's valves. (not sure on that one though)

So, you could fit a 4g37 head, but it would be far cheaper to get another g32b turbo head. If the junkyard is giving you crap, make them get a head from another yard on their network, or pay for repairing the head that they gave you, make it their choice, getting another head would probably be far cheaper for them. (I'm assuming that they are on a network, 95% of junkyards are now) Tell them you won't settle for anything less.

Good luck!
Tony

Give Rick Kiel at call at Lightning Cylinderhead near Chicago to get a quote to have your head repaired and rebuilt. He fixed up a G32B head that was cracked in 4 places for me in July. My '86 Turbo Colt (which I bought for $26.00 on ebay) was up and running fine until its alternator went away this weekend.

Lightning's telephone number is 1-800-952-4842 or email at lightningcyl@prodigy.net

I think Lightning billed me $312 to weld it up, new seats and valve job. The head came back looking like new. Also had to pay about $30 each way for shipping.
