Hows it going guys and gals? New to this form but not new to the need for speed relm. Im currently looking at a 92 Dodge Colt for sale pretty sure its just the basic version. Anyways I am looking to do a 4g63 with a AWD swap. The engine part is the easy part, however I am having trouble finding good info on transmission / rear ends that will fit the platform. Is there a list of them that might be interchangeable? some easier than others etc etc... Thank you for your input.

welcome to the forum.. please ad a location to your profile...

as for awd swaps.. the 1g dsm trans is what everyone uses.. as for the rear end. it all has to be fabricated in...some use the dsm rear..some use the ford 8.8. theres a few in the build section u can look at.

Good amount of work doing the AWD but well worth it, I used the 1G rear assembly.

Welcome and good luck!!

Eh times not the problem. Its going to be a project car. So I think im going to go with the 1g trans with the hubs / knuckles so I can fit the AWD axles / going with the 8.8 rear end 4 link setup however I am not sure what coilovers I can run with that setup?

Page 2 of this build shows his setup but I cant figure out what brand he is using.
