Kind of a cool story how I got it:
I was casually browsing for a daily driver on Craigslist and saw the Summit, I remembered I had just learned about the performance and swap possibilities accidently by seeing a really cool one on Instagram. I messaged the guy and he had a pretty restrictive schedule on when he could show it. When I tried him again he said several people were in line to buy it. A few days later he sent me a text asking if I wanted it, so I headed over and did the deal
. Being 5 Speed and AWD I couldn't really resist seeing how rare it is.He sold it advertised as dying under throttle when warmed up. I drove it home (10~miles) and it almost died once, but I made it home no problem. everything else seems to be in good working condition. I need to shampoo the interior though.
He says the distributor and coil were replaced and it didn't fix the bogging/dying issue under throttle so he parked it, where it had been 8 months before I got it....
That would have been my first place to look but I plan on researching the next few days and dig in to it on Saturday.
