Hope the transmission is standard in that LRV. They had a weak automatic that was prone to strange failures IIRC. Love the VR4 too. Same name at gvr4.org eh? |

The Expo is unfortunately an automatic. It seems to shift and run fine for now. I plan on changing the fluid and filter with synthetic this weekend. I also developed an intermittent leak on the water pump, so I will have to change that out too. And yes, I have the same name on vr4.org Thanks for the warm welcome fellas! |

Sometimes they hold up well. I have seen the stock w4a32 handle 20lbs of boost all day long. I will be running the awd w4a32 in my 93 Summit wagon with a shift box and slap-shifter. the full line pressure shifts will help the life of the tranny when getting on it. |
