Really? I've never heard of that happening before. Usually the crankwalk issue isn't even brought on by making too much power, it's brought on by oil starvation. I thought they're the same as all other EVO 7-bolt 4G63's...

Nope, it's a notorious illness with the IV. It IS brought on by oil starvation, but also by a crummy thrust bearing that was used from the factory (as far as I know). The later models were improved and don't have that issue *as much* :P
