Hey everybody! I'm yet another newbie, not really from the world of Colts but rather from DSM/early Evos.

My baby is a 1994 lancer Evo II GSR. I really look forward to learning more about early 4G63Ts and the 4G61T just to get a nice technical background. :)

Welcome to the forum! Please put a location in your profile, and also post pics of that EVO 2 so we can all be jealous of you.

You'll have to upload pics at an external host like postimage.org or photobucket.

Looks awesome, one of my dream cars for sure. If you don't mind me asking, how much can you pick one of those up for in Canada?

Thanks guys! She's special  89mirageman, I got it for a really great price, under $5000. Bought at 178000 km or so.

Man, that's a steal IMO. Most people think I'm crazy but I'd much rather have a nice EVO 1-3 than a 8-10.

They're pretty and surprisingly punchy given their light weight (the main reason why I got one :P) Personally, my dream would be a 6.5 TME or an VIII RS. I don't mind the X, but you have to do a lot to them to overcome the 300+ kg difference vs a I-III

The 1-3 are my favorite generations too, even though the 4-9 are MUCH better cars.

I got the 2 largely due to price. Agreed on later models, except for the IV. They crankwalk at anything over 300-330 whp. I've had enough friends blow out their motors that way.
