My name is Aron and I just bought a 1990 Mirage EXE. Family owned since new and it's running still even with 250k miles. I really couldn't pass it up since I've been wanting to do a sleeper build for years. I've owned a 97 GST, 60-1, SFP manifold, BJ's intake manifold, thermal exhaust, SAFC. Yeah all the old school stuff. Also a Profec B. The original and the best.
A bolt on 03 Evo and a 05 SSL Evo.
I'm planning on doing a 4G63 swap in the future for as little money as possible and to make it into the 10's. It might take awhile because I need tools and a box first because I'm studying to become a tech but it will come.
I did 8 1/2 years in the Navy working on H60 Seahawks but got out due to the amazing surgery on my angle which paralyzed my right leg for a year. It's still not 100% but the nerve is regrowing.
I've been on many forums and I think have enough knowledge to keep this cheap but don't plan on skimping on the good stuff.
Coltboostin's my inspiration since the first time I talked to him was back in 2007 and couldn't believe how the Colt performed. I guess that's enough rambling but I hope this states enough of me and who I m and what I've done to describe myself.
Definitely a lot of questions I need answered too

Welcome! I actually saw the ad for that exact car last week while doing my weekly craigslist search  . You're only 2-3 hours from me.

Well, it's better on a beach than on a boat.

You might be able to help me with it eventually then lol. I just got it tagged and insured. I have a engine light but was told it was the egr valve but right now I want to just do regular maintenance on it and drive it really. I'm going to try and shake it down at school Monday and see what I need for suspension and to pass inspection in a couple months.
