Welcome! And nice find! That tach looks a little out of place though.
Is this going to be a daily driver or a project car?

I totally remember that for sale post. Weird paint job but looked like a really clean car. It also seemed like the previous owner actually cared about it too.

Thanks fellas, the guy also had a 323 gtx but was not for sale. Was a 3 hour trip (one way) to get this car and IMO it was worth it. Interior is immaculate and exterior is quite clean also. Wanted one of these cars ever since i had my 1991 hyundai excel back in 2006. The paint job is kinda weird and the gray is textured, will get painted once roof is repaired and figure out why theres no spark. I know everyone loves pictures so heres a couple of my current vehicles.

Heres my current DD

and my other project

Welcome to 61t.org!

You can ditch that giant awkward tach and get a factory tach'd cluster, it'll plug right in and work.

Right with you on that one, but i imagine tach clusters arent very easy to come by.

They're common enough, only the super base models came without a tach, everything else got the 125mph cluster, turbo models got the 145mph cluster which are a lot rarer. You can post a WTB in the classifieds for one.

UPDATE... Car runs and drives as my new daily driver. Few bugs to squash. Fixed the odd paint, car is two-tone now.
