Hi I was a member a few years back but rarely posted but gleened a lot of knowledge and tips from the posts. Anyway I have an 89 Plymouth Colt GT Turbo that I bought brand new in 1990 form a dealer ship in south Denver. It's white with the trim red stripe had tinted windows and some graphics added by the dealer ship. This car is my baby. It stayed stock for many years then I discovered 4g61t.org and discovered how easy and inexpensive it is to make these cars really quick. so now I have a lot of the cheap mods on it but still mostly stock. Mods: 2nd gen 4g63 cams (I think) exhaust cam back a notch(lops real mean when warmed up), 14b turbo(want bigger) ,FMIC off an 2006? EVO sandwiched in where my a.c. evaporator was, cat back 2.5 exhaust , mechanical boost control set at about 14-15 psi( although doesn't seem to maintain at higher rpm think I need a 16g) has some creative intercooler piping to make things work. (don't we all?). runs great. 150k miles. I now reside in Canon City Colorado. I just want to thank some of you guys for your post from a few years back that inspired and still do inspire me with this little demon of a car Thank!!!!!!!!

Welcome!!

Please consider adding your car to the registry.

Always great to see another survivor being taken care of by a competent owner.

Lots of these cars up in Colorado.

here are some pics of the car

the first image was last summer with my 16 inch Motegi's on. you can see what is left of the graphics that was put on by the dealer. They faded to pink (from red) and I tried to remove them but they have been on so long that they were baked into the paint and I burned all the way through in some spots in the process. The second pic was taken just a few days ago (in the snow) and the car has its original 14" steel wheels with snow tires. I have a mock up of some new vinyl graphics that I am having made to cover the old stuff . when its finished I will post some better pics.
