Anyway, I tried to put the spring lifts in and realized my lower control arm. Or whatever you call just the one on bottom is totally rusted out. So I am pretty sure it is bending, making the top of my tire rub the shock dust guard. Does anyone know if the fwd and awd ones are the same before I start hitting the junyards? I really need my wagon on the road asap!! Its my DD and I am borrowing my Moms car. She has knee surgery so it kind of worked out but Monday she is back to work...
I HATE rust!!! It consumes all my cars.
. I talked to some RVR guys down under and they suggested cutting off and re-welding control arm attachment points. I am not sure I like this approach, but there might not be another option.
