As you may know I recently picked up a 92 Colt Vista (http://www.4g61t.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=34233). Its an auto but also AWD so figured it was worth jumping on. Searched the yards for a few months and FINALLY scored the stuff I needed to convert it to manual.

I had acquired two AWD Talons a few months after purchasing the Vista. One was a complete running stock 93 (7-bolt) w/ a 4-bolt LSD rear and the other a wrecked 91 (6-bolt) w/ a 3-bolt rear. I was only initially interested in the 93 because I wanted to stay smog legal but the owner also offered me the 91 in a package deal. I decided that I didn't want to run the 7-bolt so decided to sell the 93 since it was a complete and great running car. Thankfully for me, the previous owner had gone through the entire motor on the 91 shortly before it was crashed so, after a few upgrades, it should be pretty much ready to go.

All that to say...Dan and I started stripping the 91 this past Sunday.

Round 1: Let the fun begin.

Looks like a cool project for sure, wish I was closer and I would help wrench on it.

I tried to convince him, not going to happen. It will be a much better daily driver as a stick though.

Only to get away though, not for good. There's no way that I could afford to live out there. :P

Is this the car I got to see? At least the red AWD Colt? Cuz that thing was SSSSIIIICCCCKKKK. One of the cleanest swaps I've ever seen. The 240 was dope as shit too.

No, that was buddy Legendary Dave's. Parted and sold it. Now he puts LSx' in everything he owns!
