Bringing this back from 2 years dead. Did you ever drive it? I know you said exhaust is still needed but I have driving cars on just downpipe.
I think all of us would like to see where you are at from the 2 years of no post.
I've been updating my last post recently, still at my friends shop with promises of being finished soon. its almost complete just need to do the wiring, still haven't driven it :x

Currently doing the same swap.

may I ask how you modified your stock van engine mount to work? Did you have to cut and weld?

As I found out it was too short for the 1G 6 bolt talon engine. I was hoping to buy one off another car that would bolt on.

Cheers,

Ricky

my van was a 92 manual. I used all my factory engine mounts. nothing needed to be modified.

Your transmission is the w5m31, correct? Not sure why that would have an issue with the ACT clutch

I never drove the car so maybe it had a bad tranny to begin with. All i know about it is that it didn't run when i got it. so basically nothing. thinking about getting another tranny to move forward.

Maybe he has the wrong pressure plate/flywheel combo sitting in the mix right now? Some flywheels are flat, some are stepped?

I'm curious as to what portion of the clutch or whatever he is poking the stick at. Your trans is AWD, based upon that code correct?

Shouldn't be any issue ... but maybe the viscous coupler/transfer case locked up?

Does the vehicle roll just fine with the trans out of gear?

he said he installed the clutch and was pushing the van around the shop then one day it locked up and wouldn't move.
