Hey I am sorry, but since I am computer illiterate, and my palm pilot is new to me, so I need some help. Is this the correct link?
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=105181
Which version do I use, my running system is Windows XP pro. , but if that doesn't work I can use Windows office 2000. The Palm Pilot that I have is the PalmIIIxe, and it supposed to be compatible. If you can help it would be great.

The link you have is to read the mmcd info on your home pc... you also need to get the actual software for the palm which I posted a few pages back...

Download it onto your computer. Install your palm driver onto your pc (so your pc can interface with your palm) then use the appropriate palm program to load the mmcd palm software onto your palm...

It should work on almost any Mitsi/Hyundai from Late 1989 to Late 1995, it's and try and see thing, since all the vehicle in that period should be setup to use Mitsi's MUT protocols, which is what our cables emulate.

I'm stumped!

I'm using a palm IIIC and I know that the cable is correct yet still no readings? I just replaced the caps and it still does not work. All joints have been checked and tested. I just don't get it. Any help would be great.

Are you remembering to ground the data select wire on the cable to the chassis?

Is this new? I thought that jumping 10 and 12 activated the logging mode. I guess I need some more detail. I've read all the posts and don't recall adding a chassie ground. Tap intp the 10/12 jumper and ground it to the chassie? Little more info please.
Thanks

Well I spliced into the jumper and grounded it and still nothing. I ran the test mode and it says :serial comm error so I guess The cable is still no good this will be the seventh time I've redone the cable. I'm using 18 awg wire and every thing beeps accourding to it items. I'm starting to think that the cradle is junk or one of the female pins doesn't make contact or something. I'm going crazy here.

I was wondering what my stuff should be like?
My program says front o2 and rear o2, why?
Why is the voltage so wacky, like 0.3 and 2.3?
Please help I am not bright sometimes.

To be fair...

I tried the schematic described and had little success. But that doesn't mean to say it doesn't work. One possible reason I could think was power regulation as my ecu is out of the car and not connected to the MPI replay. In the end I spent a few extra dollars and bought the max233 IC. http://mmcdlogger.sourceforge.net/

Works all the same.

Luke.

alrighttt...got my logger working.
the palm end of my cable was soldered mirror imaged of what it should've been.
if anyone else is still having problems:

numbering, of course is done going down the row. remember, these are for the outside pins - not the part that you solder on to...it is in fact the mirror image of these....
if anyone needs help, post and/or pm me.

EDIT: oh yeah, you're the man switch.
