Here's what you begin with, hard to believe that orange piece is just sitting in there

Pull the lens out by pushing out these tabs. You only have to pry open the part of the lens where the orange piece is under, not the whole lens

Pull out the orange piece and seal everything up with some black gasket maker

cool, I was gonna put an amber 12-LED 1157 replacement in there & wire it for turn signals too (getting rid of the front rectangle signals). I think it will look better & shine brighter with that amber plastic removed. nice going.

The best way I found to under take the procedure is put the lenses in the oven for 5 mins on a piece of tin foil at 200-250 and removoe the orange put them back in the oven for another 3 mins or so that heats up the glue and press back together good as new....

I had to tint mine anyway, so i left it in there, and pulled out the bulb.
